Moodle’s Gradebook aligns with the best practice in online pedagogy to provide learners with a well designed and up-to-date gradebook. However, if your gradebook needs some work, you can temporarily hide it until it’s ready:

Enter your Moodle course.

Select the Settings option on the Secondary Navigation. 

Expand the Appearance section.

Change Show gradebook to students to No with the supplied drop-down menu.

Scroll to the bottom of the page.

Click the Save and display button.
