Welcome to our weekly BLOG: The Moodle Newdle. We’ll introduce you to some new Moodle features, as well as explore some of those you might have missed or forgotten. We also plan to spotlight course accessibility during the first and third Thursdays of each month.

Have you ever been mid-class thinking, ‘Where’s that guide again?’ The answer is: the red bar on any Moodle page. Both students and faculty can quickly access a one-click menu to key resources and step-by-step instructions.

• Students menu includes helpful tools, such as the Moodle Self-Guided Orientation, Moodle Help w/Videos, and quick links to student support services.
• Faculty menu has resources, such as Moodle Quick Links, the OLET Knowledge Base, Contact Moodle Support, and much more.

Pro Tip: Highlight the Students menu and the Moodle Dashboard at the start of every term so students know exactly where to find resources to feel more confident, supported, and better prepared to succeed in an online learning environment.
