Automatic Forwarding of Clackamas Emails to a Personal Email

To keep up with emails coming into your clackamas email it can be helpful to forward messages to a personal account you check regularly.

This process differs for Students and Staff so choose the method that matches your primary role here in the college.

Another method for easy access of your email is to install the Outlook Mobile App and sync it to your Clackamas account.

For Students

The following process will let you know when and the content of any email sent your student.clackamas.edu email account so you only have to check your personal one. You will be able to reply to these forwarded emails, but it will be sent from your personal email. To reply from your student email you MUST sign into our student.clackamas.edu email to respond through there.

Instead of forwarding your email you may also opt to use the Microsoft Outlook app on your smart phone to get notifications, read, and respond to school emails.

Log in to MyClackamas and access your email via the You have (no/#) unread messages link located near the Log Out button.

Once in the Outlook Email Web Client locate and click Settings (the gear icon) in the top-right corner to open the menu.

In the settings navigation bar, under Your app settings, select Mail.

Within the Mail section, under Accounts, click the Forwarding link.

Select Start Forwarding and enter your personal email that you would like email to be forward to.

SUGGESTED: You can select Keep a copy of forwarded messages if you would like to keep them in your student email as well as forward them to your personal email. This makes it easier to respond from your student email when needed.
