Welcome to our weekly BLOG: The Moodle Newdle. We’ll introduce you to some new Moodle features, as well as explore some of those you might have missed or forgotten.

Why upload your YouTube videos to Kaltura? Using Kaltura to host or embed YouTube videos provides a controlled, advertisement-free, and secure environment for you and your students:

• distraction-free viewing (no ads)
• enhanced accessibility and caption options
• improved analytics
• backup security (if the original YouTube video is removed)

Even if you don’t use Moodle, you can log into MediaSpace (video.clackamas.edu) to upload your YouTube videos there.

Either way, My Media (Moodle) and MediaSpace allow you to:

• record (Capture or Express Capture)
• embed
• create interactive video quizzes
• manage your media (folders and chapter bookmarks)
