Courses appear differently depending on the role you have in the course. It can be beneficial when designing a course to view the course as a student. You can use the switch role feature to temporarily view the course in another role.
Enter the course you wish to view as a student.
Click on the user menu on the red bar.
Select the Switch role to… option.
Select the Student role.
View the course and the elements of the course as a student.
Don’t forget to to return to your normal role before leaving the course.
Click on the user menu on the red bar.
Select the Return to my normal role option.
NOTE: If your course is hidden to students and you leave the course before you return to your normal role you will not be able to see the course on your My courses page. If this happens to you submit a ticket to OLET and we can send you a link to access your course directly.
