Follow these directions to grant an extension for specific student(s) for a particular assignment or quiz.
Log into Moodle and navigate to your course.
Enter the Assignment or Quiz where you want to add an extension.
Click the More option from the secondary navigation.
Select Overrides.
Click the Add user override button.
From Override user, select the user who needs the extension.
NOTE: If you want to set the same override for multiple students, set up a group and use the group override option.
Modify the Due date for assignments, or the Close the quiz date for quizzes to reflect the new due date.
NOTE: uncheck the Cut-off date for assignments if it is enabled.
Click the Save button.
NOTE: If you need to add a different override to this same quiz, you can use the Save and enter another override button.
