The Activities Block

Home > The Activities Block

The Activities block lists the different activity and resource types used in your course. Select a specific activity or resource type to display a list of all the items of that type in your course with some additional detail. Each activity type displays different information depending on your role (student or instructor).

NOTE: This block allows instructors to see all Assignment submissions that need grading without individually opening each assignment.

The Course Structure Template includes the Activities block by default. However, if you do not see the Activities block in your Block drawer, follow these instructions to add the block.

From the top-right corner of the page toggle Edit mode into the On position.

Turn Editing On button is found in the top-right corner of a Moodle page you have permission to modify content for.

Locate the Add a Block item at the top of the expanded Block drawer on the right side of the page.

From the Add… menu select Activities.
