The Accessibility Report helps you to find accessibility issues and fix them.
Once you upload a file (pdf, docx, pptx, xlsx) to your course, Panorama will run an automated document check and provide an accessibility “score” for that document. Once the scoring is complete, you will see an Indicator icon to the right of each document letting you know its accessibility ranking. This way, you can get a quick visual of where the issues are and which ones you need to tackle first.
NOTE: Use the TinyMCE text editor to fix text within Moodle activities and resources.

Scanned PDF files are essentially images that screen readers do not interpret the text. As a result, these PDFs are not accessible to users who rely on screen readers.
To improve PDF accessibility, you can use Panorama’s optical character recognition (OCR) tool to convert your PDF into a searchable format. While this won’t address all the accessibility issues, it will make the document more usable and allow you to address the other accessibility issues separately.
Select the accessibility icon to the right of the scanned PDF to open the Alternative Formats menu.
NOTE: You can also access the Alternative Formats menu through the Content area of the Course Report.
Select the Gauge Icon in the window to display a Document Preview on the left and the Accessibility Report on the right.
NOTE: If the icon is blue and the Score Gauge is gray, just select the Reprocess link to get your score.
Select the OCR Overlaid Tagged PDF option.
NOTE: The PDF will maintain the appearance of the original document but includes OCR (Optical Character Recognition) text overlay. As a result, the new PDF will be searchable and accessible for screen readers.
Click the Add change button.
Verify the Tags and Reading order make sense for the document.
