Setting up Completion Tracking

Enable completion tracking in your course.

Set up Activity Completion for activities and resources in your course:

Individual Activities and Resources

Students Manually Marked as Complete can be used when you want students to be in charge of determining when they have completed an activity.

Marked Complete when Conditions are Met will automatically mark activities and resources complete when certain conditions are met for the activity or resource.

• Students must earn a passing grade on a quiz
• Students must post to a forum
• Student must submit a file to an assignment
• Student must view a resource

Multiple Activities and Resources

• Bulk Edit Activity Completion can be used to set up Activity Completion for multiple activities and resources that already exist in your course.
• Default Activity Completion can be used to set up the default settings for Activity Completion for new activities and resources that you add to your course.

Add Course Completion Block to your course

• Completion Progress Block (included in Course Structure Template)
• Course Completion Status Block (not included in Course Structure Template)

Optional: You can also restrict access to any activity or resource based on the completion of previous activities.

You can view student activity completion and manually edit activity completion using the Activity Completion Report.
