You can add an activity or resource anywhere this link occurs. The following is a brief introduction to what activities and resources are in the context of Moodle, followed by a list of types for each.

A resource is an item that an instructor can use to support learning, such as a file or link. Moodle supports a range of resource types. Once added, a resource appears as a single link with an icon in front of it that represents the type of resource. The types of resources available in Moodle are listed below.
