There are a number of ways to integrate multimedia into your Moodle course. This article will help you determine which tool best suits your needs.

You can also add pre-existing academic video resources like those provided by the CCC Library to your Moodle courses.

General Guide Ideal for short (<5min), one-use video or audio responses. Ideal for adding Kaltura video to an existing Moodle Activity or Resource (assignment, forum, page, etc.). Ideal for adding Kaltura video as its own Moodle Resource.  Ideal for quickly recording temporary videos (such as live course sessions).

Longevity: How long will the media be available in Moodle? As long as the course is available in Moodle. All provisioned courses remain in Moodle for 2 years. Videos remain available via My Media in Moodle and Mediaspace long term. Videos remain available via My Media in Moodle and Mediaspace long term.
